If hand cream is an everyday go-to product to most of us, foot cream is not so common. For example, I  use foot cream very rarely- only when my feet is really messed up. But every summer is a struggle for me whenever my feet touches sand, earth or just city dust they became so dry and sandpaper like. Yes, maybe it is TMI, but it is the sad truth. These last days I've been visiting my parents at their country house and decided to help my mom in the garden. Wearing only flip flops. Fool. Nothing helped me to get rid of the dry, sandy feeling- not even softening baths and loads of moisturising hand cream.

As desperate as I was I purchased the first foot cream I was offered- Refreshing Foot Lotion by Douglas. I wasn't fully happy about the fact that it was lotion, not heavy duty cream (in my mind lotion didn't sound serious enough), but I still went for it.

Well, this lotion didn't leave me disappointed- it helped almost immediately. I felt results after first time applying it. After three applies my feet were soft and perfectly hydrated. The lotion itself is very lightweight, pale blue and smells refreshing, yet not overwhelming.

Its ultimate-Care formula, containing cyanobacteria and sea silk, gently nourishes your feet and guarantees your skin complete vitality. Apricot kernel oil and mango kernel butter leave the skin feeling soft and supple. Aloe vera and panthenol deeply moisturise the skin. Its fresh fragrance and deodorising properties guarantee a long-lasting freshness and a sensation of complete comfort.

Ja bez roku krēma mana ikdiena nav iedomājama, tad par kāju krēmiem es nevaru apgalvot to pašu. Jā, man mājās plaukta tālākajā nostūrī stāv daži kāju krēmi un krāj putekļus. Esmu tos lietojusi tikai ļoti retos gadījumos- kad ir pavisam bēdīgi. 

Vasaras periodā pēdas ir viennozīmīgi mana problēmzona-pie jebkuras saskarsmes ar zemi, smiltīm vai vienkārši pilsētas putekļiem to āda paliek sausa, papēži sāk plaisāt un rodas šausmīgais smilšpapīra efekts. Tas pats notika arī tagad, kad ciemojoties pie mammas nolēmu palīdzēt dārza darbos uzvilkusi tikai iešļūcenes. Muļķe! Nepalīdzēja ne mīktinošās kāju vannas, ne mitrinošākais roku krēms treknākajā slānī. 

Devos uz veikalu, kur iegādājos pirmo ieteikto produktu- Douglas ATsvaidzinošo losjonu kājām. No sākuma nebiju īpaši priecīga par faktu, ka tas ir losjons nevis krēms (krēms izklausās nopietnāk tomēr), bet neko darīt.

To me, blue is the most summery color ever, so when I decided that I want to create out-of-my-comfort-zone make up look, I knew that it must involve blue eyeshadow.
Browsing through H&M website I fell in love in shade Water Sprite - it was perfect glittery turquoise shade which in real life looked exactly as on site.
If You already have tried H&M eyeshadows You will know that they are amazing - buttery, easily blendable and pigmented. What I liked about this shade is that it comes quite sheer at first, so you can easily build it up for really intense color, or leave it quite sheer for more every day based look. Either way, it looks amazing!

Each season comes with new launches from Artistry - a brand that so far hasn't disappointed me.

This time, they came out with new Signature Color products and also the Exact Fit foundation.

The main stress of new products is put on long lasting. If the Signature color products - eyeshadow, blusher and eye pencils should last up to 12 Hours, the Exact Fit foundation set the bar even higher - 24 Hours (that's what advertisement says).

I got the chance to test out a bunch of their new products - foundation, blusher, two sets of eyeshadow and eye pencils. 

Let's start with the trickiest product - the foundation. For me, this is quite difficult product - when I first apply it really doesn't look good on me. The color doesn't match me, it makes all imperfections even more visible and I generally look like nothing. Even my boyfriend, who never actually notices my makeup said that I look unhealthy wearing it. But after 10-15 minutes of looking quite sad, it sinks in leaving your skin looking perfect and glowing. And staying power is really good (I can't comment on the 24h thing, but my 12 working hours it holds like a champion). 

Talking about eyeshadow and the blusher - there is nothing not to love - pigmentation is good, they blend really well - and yes, staying power is very very good.

In my everyday makeup routine, I don't tend to use eye pencils, mainly because all that I own are black and they just seem a bit too much for every day. The pencils I got from Artistry are not black, though - I got two shades - Brown and Plumberry. So far I've tried the shade Plumberry on my lower lash line (combined with pinky toned eyeshadow from Pink chocolate palette it looks really nice).

Jauna sezona nāk ar jaunumiem no Artistry - kompānijas, kas līdz šim nav likusi vilties. Šobrīd Artistry ir nākuši klajā ar jauniem produktiem no Signature color sērijas - ilgnoturīgas acu ēnas, vaigu sārtumi un acu zīmuļi, kā arī jaunums Exact Fit ilgnoturīgais tonālais krēms (sola noturību līdz pat 24 stundām).

Tonalais krēms ir visviltīgākais produks, manā skatījumā. Problēma ar šo tonalo ir tāda, ka to uzklājot pirmās minūtes es izskatos galīgi nekāda. Tas labi nosedz ādas apsārtumus, bet tajā pašā laika ļoti izceļ nelīdzenu ādu (pumpas piemēram) un visa visumā neizskatās sevišķi labi. Pat mans draugs, kurs parasti īpaši napamana manu meikapu nepakautrējās nokomentēt, ka izskatos nevesela īsu brīdi pēc tā uzklāšanas. Tomēr ir par agru šo tonālo norakstīt, pēc apmēram 10-15 minūtēm, kad tonālais krēms ir pilnībā absorbējies āda paliek ļoti vienmērīga, iegūstot veselīgu mirdzumu. Šis krēms viennozīmīgi ir ļoti ilgnoturīgs - iztur visu darbadienu, par ko saņem no manis 5 zvaigznes :)

No acu ēnām izmēgināju divas paletes - Spice Bronze un Pink Chocolate. Pagaidām visbiežak sniedzos tieši pēc Pink Chocolate paletes - ir ļoti iepaticies maigi rozā tonis. Krāsas ir labi pigmenētas un ir viegli sapludināmas. Arī par noturību nevaru sūdzēties - tiešām iztur visu dienu. To pašu varu teikt arī par vaigu sārtumu. 

Acu zīmuļus ikdienā nelietoju - atlieku tos vairāk vakara meikapam, galvenokart tādēļ, ka visi mana kosmētikas kolekcijā esošie zīmuļi ir melni. No Artistry saņemtie acu zīmuļi ir citos toņos - Brown un Plumberry - tātad brūns un tāds ka baklažānu violets. Brūno vēl neesmu mēģinājusi, bet Plumberry patīk lietot uz apakšējā plakstiņa līnijas kombinācijā ar Pink Chocolate paletes gaišāko rozā toni.

Kā jau var noprast, arī šoreiz Artistry ir trāpījuši desmitniekā - produkti ir tiešam labi, un pat tonālais krēms, ar visiem tā trūkumiem ir tas, pēc kā sniedzos katru rītu.
